MassEVIP Public Access Charging Program

The Public Access Charging (PAC) Program provides grants to non-residential entities for 80% of the cost of Level 2 EV charging stations and installation, and a maximum of $50,000 per street address for hardware and installation costs. Installations at government property qualify for 100% of the cost, up to $50,000. Qualified EV charging stations must be available to the public at least 12 hours per day. MassEVIP Level 2 Programs

The Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (MassEVIP) provides incentives for up to 60% of the hardware and installation cost of Level 2 EV charging stations installed, up to $50,000 per street address. Eligible entities include MUDs with five or more residential units, and educational campuses with at least 15 students on site, as well as workplaces and fleets with 15 or more employees on site. MassEVIP Workplace and Fleet Charging Program

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection offers funding of up to 60% for Level 2 EV charging stations installed in workplaces or servicing light duty vehicle fleets. MassEVIP Multi-Unit Dwelling & Educational Campus Charging Incentives

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection offers funding of up to 60% for Level 2 EV charging stations installed in multi-dwelling units or educational campuses. National Grid – EV Commercial Charging Program

The program will fund up to 100% of the electrical infrastructure costs associated with installing EV charging infrastructure and provides rebates on charging stations. National Grid customers in Massachusetts can receive up to $3,900 per Level 2 charging station and up to $80,000 per port for DC fast chargers. Eversource – Electric Vehicle Charging Rebate

Eversource is offering this Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Program to provide support for up to 100% of the infrastructure costs needed to bring electric service to sites where Level 2 and Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFCs) are to be installed. Light-duty fleets, workplaces, public destinations, and multi-unit dwellings (5+ units) may also be eligible for rebates of up to 100% for Level 2 charging stations and up to $80,000 per port for DC fast chargers. Braintree Electric Light Department – Bring Your Own Charger Program

Braintree Electric Light Department offers up to $250 rebate for electrician’s services for wiring circuit/breaker for a Level 2 charger installation in a single-home residence.Learn more about Braintree Electric Light Department Program →

 

Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit

Qualifying businesses, including non-profits and municipalities, may be eligible to a tax credit of up to 30% when purchasing and installing electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The 30C tax credit now covers up to $100,000 per charger installed in locations that meet certain geographic requirements. Businesses must claim the credit on their federal tax return. National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program

The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program allocates $5 billion in funding to states to deploy EV fast chargers along designated alternative fuel corridors nationwide. The program provides funding for up to 80% of eligible project costs. In addition to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) minimum standards, each state can also set its own NEVI requirements.
