FLO Electrifies Phoenix Contact U.S. Headquarters With Solar-Powered EV Chargers 

Workplace charging solutions offer an additional perk for employees driving EVs 

  HARRISBURG, PA – FLO, a leading North American electric vehicle (EV) charging company and a smart charging solutions provider, announced it will supply workplace EV charging solutions at the headquarters of Phoenix Contact USA. Four dual port CoRe+ chargers will be installed, providing a seamless and reliable charging experience to Phoenix Contact’s employees. FLO has provided similar workplace charging solutions to Phoenix Contact Canada employees at locations in Ontario.

We applaud Phoenix Contact for providing this additional perk to employees who have made the switch to an EV.” 

FLO’s innovative technology will be part of a distributed and sustainable system featuring a 110kW solar carport, 180kW battery storage, and EV charging stations. The charging stations will also feature an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) enabling FLO to pull power from the grid if there is not enough solar power generated and stored for EV charging demand as well as, feed excess solar generated electric to be utilized by the main facility in the event the battery storage is full.
