FLO Sponsors First Ever CITYFEST in Partnership with NYCFC

Collaboration highlights project to expand curbside electric vehicle charging in NYC 

NEW YORK, NY, August 15, 2022 – FLO, a leading North American electric vehicle (EV) charging network operator and smart charging solutions provider, partnered with the New York City Football Club (NYCFC) to sponsor the inaugural CITYFEST yesterday at Terminal 5. Fans came to support the NYCFC virtually as the team took on the Inter Miami Football Club in Miami. 

While FLO is a sponsor of the NYCFC throughout the season, FLO’s sponsorship of the first annual CITYFEST brought awareness to the new plugNYC project. In partnership with the New York City Department of Transportation and Con Edison, FLO is installing over 120 charging stations across the Big Apple to expand access to EV curbside charging. The event included a pre-match performance by musical artist MAX, an exclusive photo opportunity with the MLS Cup, an enhanced match viewing experience, a FLO EV charger display, as well as activities for the whole family. 

As part of the plugNYC pilot program, FLO began installing charging stations in June of last year across all five boroughs to provide a reliable curbside charging solution for New York City’s EV drivers.
